Individual mental health counseling is provided online online (via Doxy) for all residents in Tennessee. Virtual sessions are so available to residents living in Illinois. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home or work at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform. Please note that you must be in the state of Tennessee or Illinois during our session time.

Life Transitions include any major life change; moving from high school to college, parents are separating, divorce, death and loss of a loved one, getting married, having a child, moving from one city to another, changing careers, etc. Our goals for life transitions is to help you understand, process, and get through taxing emotions that can occur during these times.
Grief is an inevitable and inescapable part of life. You can often feel knocked off your feet and struggle during this period of time. Grief & Loss is not only limited to the death of a loved one, but it also includes loss of a job, separation from a loved one, death of a pet, change of career, etc. The main goal for grief counseling is to help you integrate the reality of your loss into your life moving forward, and help you maintain a healthy bond with the one you lost.
Communication issues may potentially arise in any relationship (with your partner, your friend, your boss, etc.). Additional issues in your relationship may include difficulty understanding other point of view, anger, irritability, parenting challenges, on-going tensions with the in-laws, infidelity, abuse, trauma, and external stressors. Our goals may include symptom reduction (reduce anger and irritability), learn how to communicate better with partner, set boundaries, etc.
Counseling sessions, therapy, goals, and treatment will be tailored for your needs. The counseling relationship is two-fold and you will have an active role every step of the way. In therapy, you will learn the skills needed to self-soothe, emotionally regulate yourself, and learn to live with your symptoms (symptom reduction may be a goal to work towards).
